in napa, fairfield, grab a jacket if you are in redwood city, fremont, only in the mid-40s there. by the afternoon we are going to struggle to get out of the upper -- to the lower 50s, rather. out the door now in the 30s and 40s. we see a cooler start, especially inland. and then by this afternoon, once again, these temperatures are only going to see low to mid-50s in the warmest spots. we'll see a little bit of a return of sunshine and for the most part the rain is cleared. we are keeping a slight chance of rain mainly along the coast. but a lot of it has moved east. this low pressure is keeping temperatures on the chilly side. if you think this morning is cold? wait until tomorrow morning. we'll show you what's going on with this futurecast. things unsettled along the coast but then for the most part the clouds clear and then tomorrow morning, that could be one of the coldest of the entire year. in fact we already have some freeze warnings posted for out in the north bay frost advisories for pretty much the rest of the bay area so yeah, get ready. we are in a pretty good cold s

. and certainly down through fremont. san jose we talked about the light showers and around morgan hill, the coast. so, you know, things aren't going to change significantly until we get into this system and then behind it. so the rain will really give us a break throughout the afternoon but look at all the cloud cover. we've got a big area that is going to move in over us, bringing us the heavy rain and the gusty winds. mostly while you are sleeping into tomorrow morning. it's 60 in fremont, 66 in los gatos and wind gusts 30 miles an hour in san jose. oakland breezy to gusty winds. hayward a south gust up to 32. showers on and off throughout the day today. heavy rain and wind arrive overnight tonight into tomorrow morning and flood warnings for the rivers of the north bay. we also have a flash flood watch through tomorrow night for several inches of rain predicted here for the north bay. we are looking at smaller streams that may overtop their banks and storm drains may be overwhelmed from the santa cruz mountains, monterey bay and the coastline. so hopefully if you had a chance, i saw a lot of f
